DMLT stands for Diploma In Medical Laboratory Technician. It is an undergraduate program designed to provide with the skills & knowledge to work as medical lab technologist. This program takes 2 years to complete both theoretical & practical knowledge.
During this course students will learn medical laboratory procedures, instruments & equipment, as well as principals of lab management, quality control & safety measures. It also includes human anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology & pathology. Also they learn how to take different samples like, Blood, Urine, Cough, etc. And diagnose the disease to prepare a report for the same.
