B.Voc. Optometry is an undergraduate 3 Years degree program that focuses on the study of optometry, which is a branch of healthcare dealing with the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of eye disorders and visual impairments. The program aims to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to become competent optometrists.The students achieve an extreme understanding of the vision care and treatment techniques.
During the course, the students get to understand about the human eye, vision treatment methods, and the use of multiple types of equipment. With theory as well as the practical approach, the teachers ensure the skill development in each and every student. Concepts which will be covered in this course are Anatomy and Physiology of EYE, Optics & Refractions, Clinical Optometry, Low vision Aids, Ophthalmic Instruments and Techniques, Binoculars Visions & Orthoptics, Ocular Pathology,etc.
